This fabric design is Folio 2, exclusive to Tinsmiths, inspired by traditional bookbinding end papers. The colours of these lampshades glow when illuminated and will make a stunning feature within a room. I have introduced some new cylinder, retro style sizes for this fabric to give a mid century feel with a little bit of a lava lamp vibe. (Also available in an orange, yellow and black design).
This design is multi directional so the drum and cylinder shapes can be used either way up for a lamp or ceiling pendant.
For ceiling pendant lampshades, you could choose the option of adding a diffuser - this is a translucent polypropylene disc which sits on the lower rim of the shade, they let plenty of light through but hide the bulb, allowing the eye to focus on the shade itself. They create a smart professional finish, particularly useful for the larger shades and high ceilings.
