Carneum Floral Lampshade, blue green linen
Handmade to order, this pretty lampshade is made using a Voyage Maison fabric called Carneum, printed with watercolour effect wildflowers and leaves in greens, blues and violet on a natural linen coloured background. Fabric content is 90% cotton 10% linen with small flecks in it. It co-ordinates nicely with the plain oatmeal linen lampshades that I make.
30cm and 20cm shades are depicted. This fabric has a large pattern repeat, so shades will feature different flowers and not necessarily the alliums, for example.
Made to fit EITHER a lamp base OR a ceiling pendant light, please choose carefully from the drop-down menu.
For ceiling pendant lampshades, you could choose the option of adding a diffuser, this is a translucent polypropylene disc which sits on the lower rim of the shade. It lets plenty of light through but hides the bulb, allowing the eye to focus on the shade itself. They give a smart professional finish, particularly useful for the larger shades and high ceilings or in a nursery where you want to lessen glare. Very easy to fit and remove for cleaning. N.B. cheaper to buy with the shade rather than separately.
