‘Field of Gold’ is one of a new collection of pictoral lampshades designed and made by me using a collage of beautiful linens and printed fabrics, to create an evocative fieldscape with golden wheat fields, sun dried grass verges with cow parsley stems.
A 20cm diameter shade is depicted.
These landscape/seascape shades are best suited to lamps, the lower portion of the shades is darker when illuminated as it emits less light. They make beautiful mood lighting.
Made to a ‘recipe’ of fabrics and measurements, each one will be slightly different with varying fringing etc. Seams will not necessarily match but I will try to create a consistent ‘skyline’.
Made with my regular stock of fabrics, co-ordinating shades are available in…-linens- oatmeal,mustard, cream and printed-cow parsley, indigo.
