The linen is produced to Oeko tex standards and has a lovely texture which is enhanced when illuminated.

A plain fabric shade can be used either way up on a lamp or ceiling light. There is the choice to add a diffuser, which is a polypropylene disc which slots in to a ceiling shade and sits on the lower rim. It is useful for eliminating glare and hiding the light bulb. Easy to fit and remove for dusting.
